HomeSignal · Guide

What is being built near me?

Most construction leaves a public record before work starts: a permit application, a site plan, a zoning case or a public hearing notice. HomeSignal collects those official records and maps them by ZIP code, so you can see what is proposed, approved and already built near you.

Have a street address? Search it on the Development map and choose how far around it to look.

What you will see

Each project is sorted by where it stands:

And by what kind of project it is: data center, industrial, residential, roads & infrastructure, commercial, civic & public, or other. Each one links to the record it came from, so you can read the details for yourself.

Where the records come from

City and county building permits, site plans and subdivision plats, zoning and rezoning cases, planning hearings, and state transportation projects, read from the governments that publish them.
